In 6th Class, we studied and listened to some of the poetry written by Walter de la Mare. We were inspired by one of his more famous pieces of writing, “The Listeners” and created images based on how we each interpreted the poem. 💭See the beautiful artwork below :
We created a Remembrance Tree for the month of November. The month of November is traditionally a month where we remember those who are no longer with us and honour their memory. The girls decorated beautiful leaves with prayers on them and we kept it in our Sacred Space in Room 10.🌼
Maths Week was celebrated from the 10th-18th of October.
The girls played lots of of challenging games and had great fun competing in Numero, What’s the Number? and 21.
We also went on a fun Maths Trial in the yard! We were discovering and exploring all the various angles in the yard! 🙂
We also got very creative when designing our classroom door for the maths competition. Well done to all the girls who helped design it! 🙂
I hope you enjoy the last week of activities. There are some fun virtual tours again this week. There is a talent competition and some really fun art activities. We will also be finishing the novel we have been reading, Ickabog!
