Coding with Scratch
These classes introduce the girls to the essential building blocks of Computer Coding using Scratch software to create Interactive stories and simple games. The classes are suitable for all ages from 2nd – 6th classes and no prior coding experience is necessary. Computers are provided for use in lessons.
With Computer Science now a Leaving Certificate option subject, it is a huge advantage to learn coding at this early age and it’s lots of fun too!
- Term 1 will commence in September and continue until mid-January (Term 2 will follow and run until mid-June)
- Tuesdays 2.25pm – 3.15pm. (Tuesday class if sufficient numbers)
- Wednesdays 2.25pm – 3.15pm.
The girls come directly to my class after school and can either leave by themselves or be collected at the front door at 3.15pm, depending on your preference.
Classes are suitable for new and returning students.
