We have been working hard on Time during our Maths lessons. We worked in groups to create television station names and schedules. Then we created questions about our TV schedules to challenge the rest of the class. We also worked in groups to create bus companies and timetables. Again we made up questions to challenge the rest of the class.

During our Science lesson, we studied the Heart and the Circulatory System. The whole class played the parts of the four chambers of the heart, the lungs and the body, while the rest of the class followed the path of the blood from the heart to the lungs to the heart to the body. Have you seen the video of it on Seesaw?

Inspired by this song, we created beautiful Valentine’s cards during our Art lesson.

This month the focus of our History and Geography lessons was Egypt. We enjoyed researching the Geography of Egypt using our textbooks and websites on our Class Blog. In particular we looked at its location, landscape, rivers, mountains, cities, neighbouring countries, weather, agriculture and animals you would find there.
We loved researching the Ancient Egyptians, using textbooks, websites and research books from the school library.
We were delighted to invite parents to visit our classroom for Egypt Day.

Have you seen the video of them dancing to Walk Like an Egyptian, by The Bangles, on Seesaw?
