During Maths Stations, this month, we did lots of hands-on investigations and games to learn about Length, Capacity and Mass (weight).

We revised our addition, subtraction, multiplication and division tables using card games. It’s a great way to work on our accuracy and speed.

In PE, we designed and created our own obstacle courses, using hoops, hurdles and mats.

We were so excited to start Reading Buddies with the 6th girls.

We used our birdwatch pages to create fabulous Data graphs in Maths.

We used the Maths Language display to create questions about our graphs.

Then we quizzed our classmates.

The class started to read ‘The Twits‘, by Roald Dahl. Mrs Twit became hideously ugly by thinking ugly thoughts. We tried to imagine what those ugly thoughts might have been.

Mr Twit is equally dreadful. He has an utterly disgusting beard. The class composed questions about beards and compiled a Beard Questionnaire. Mr Dilleen came to our classroom to be interviewed about his beard.

We used our amazing artistic skills to create Georgian houses during our History lesson.
