Hi girls!

I hope you all had a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend and enjoyed the lovely sunshine 🙂

I’m really enjoying seeing all your super work on Seesaw! Your recipes last week were amazing – who knew I had a class full of bakers!! 🙂 And the bird projects were excellent! I’m looking forward to seeing more of your fantastic work this week.

I have linked below the work for this week. Remember: Déan do dhícheall (do your best!) and make sure to focus on your handwriting. If you can’t do something that’s ok – you can ask me questions on Seesaw.

I’ve attached pictures of the Busy at Maths and Small World pages for this week below. You can also access these pages by clicking on the following link: https://my.cjfallon.ie/dashboard/student-resources . Then filter to 2nd class and Busy at Maths or Small World. An online version of the book should then appear as the first option.

We also have a new activity this week if you’d like to try it out – The 10 Day STEM Challenge (see link below). STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Challenge yourself and use your imagination to create some of the STEM activities listed below using any materials you can find at home. When you finish a challenge, upload a picture/video of your creation to Seesaw and explain how you made it. I’m looking forward to seeing your creations!
