I hope you all had a lovely weekend and are well rested as this week is Active Schools Week. As we are not in school, it is being renamed as Active Home Week. We are asking you to be extra active at home – be creative in how you keep active, play games, take more movement breaks, spend more time outside – fingers crossed for nice weather!! Have a look at some ideas below:
- There are many ideas here to help keep you active, a weekly chart where you can track your activities and even a certificate to prove you were super active all week!! https://activeschoolflag.ie/index.php/active-home-week-2020/
You will find your plan of work for this week below. Please look carefully at the plan – some activities in Maths and Religion are to be done orally – there is no need to write out the answers when you see this – just read your answers aloud.
Within the plan, if you see a sentence written in bold and highlighted in green – this means that I will post something on Seesaw on this particular day to help you to complete this work. I will be posting some tips on how to improve your learning throughout the week. 🙂
Below you will find pictures from your Busy at Maths workbook that you will need throughout the week.
Maths – Tuesday 28th – Pg. 130. – Q. 1 & 2 orally and Q. 3 in your copy
Maths – Wednesday 29th – Q 1+2 in your copy. (Remember in Q.1, use the least amount of coins. Check Seesaw for help with Q.2)
Maths – Thursday 30th – Q. 1 in your copy
Maths – Friday 1st May – Questions 2 – 4. (Test yourself and try out the challenge too!)
Finally, this Thursday the 30th of April was supposed to be a very special day in Belgrove – the girls from 6th Class should be making their Sacrament of Confirmation. Unfortunately, their special day has been cancelled until further notice but we still want to make the day special for them. We are asking you to make a ‘Happy 6th Class Day’ poster for them and hang it on a window or somewhere that it might be seen by the 6th class girls if they are walking or driving by your house. I’m sure it will brighten their day! 🙂
Keep up the great work girls!
Ms. Mason 🙂
