Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are pleased to announce that Homework Club will be up and running in Belgrove SGS again this year. Homework Club is a calm environment where children can complete their homework while having access to help from a teacher, should they need it. Homework Club will commence on Monday September 7th, until Thursday 3rd of December.
Homework Club will run every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday until, unless the school is closed.
Due to high demand we will allocate places on a first come first served basis.
- €80 for 1 day a week
- €160 for 2 days a week
- €220 for 3 days a week
Cash can be given to any of the homework club team in an envelope clearly marked with your daughter’s name. Payment cannot be accepted through the school office.
- Homework Club will start at 2.20 p.m. Ten minutes will be allocated to the girls at the start of the session for a little snack, and they will finish at 3.20 p.m.
- Here in the Homework Club, the emphasis is on the completion of written work.
- Children are encouraged to work independently, seeking help from the teacher if they are stuck or do not understand. After you have listened to your daughter’s reading and you have looked over her work, please still sign the homework journal.
