Our class spent Science Week investigating Light.
The class was divided into three stations. Everyone worked in pairs, and read the instructions of each experiment carefully, to figure out what to do.
The class especially enjoyed using torches to investigate if materials were opaque, transparent or translucent. We had to be very careful pouring out the water when we investigated refraction. We saw funny reflections of ourselves when we looked at concave and convex mirrors.
Afterwards, the class reflected on what they learned, what they enjoyed and what they found challenging.
The highlight of the week was our Science Morning on Thursday 14th November. Thank you to all of the parents, grandparents and siblings who visited Room 9. We hope you learned a lot!
