Belgrove Senior Girls’ School has been excelling in the area of sport over the past few years so we have decided to make everyone more aware of how active we really are!
This year we are hoping to apply for our Active Flag!!
The Department of Education and Skills wishes to recognise schools that strive to achieve a physically active school community by awarding them the Active School Flag (ASF). Once awarded the flag remains valid for a period of 3 years. Buíochas to the Parents’ Association who provided the funding to buy our noticeboard.
We are having an Active Week from the 24th – 31st of May
- we are trying to promote active travel to school -walking, cycling or scooting!
- we have plenty of activities planned for school time
