For the past two years Belgrove Senior Girls’ School have supported the Society of St. Vincent de Paul’s Christmas Shoe Box appeal. This year the SVP would very much welcome donations of food. For this reason Belgrove Senior Girls’ have decided to support the SVP Christmas Food Appeal.
Food Collection Week: Monday 5th – Friday 9th December.
The Society of St Vincent de Paul is the largest, voluntary, charitable organisation in Ireland with over 9,500 volunteers in Ireland. They provide help and assistance for over 20,000 families at Christmas, in the Dublin area alone. By donating non-perishable food items, you will help families and individuals enjoy a special Christmas meal.
In addition, by providing food to eat over the Christmas and New Year period you’ll also be easing some of their financial burden. Hampers will be distributed out to the many underprivileged children and families through our network of local conferences and volunteers.
