Sponsored Walk  : Friday, 22nd  October 2010

(Gléasta suas – dressed up!)
Míle buíochas to the committee of our Parents’ Association for once again organising our sponsored walk.  We hope lots of Moms and Dads will be able to join us.  We intend leaving the school at 11.00am and the walk takes about 40 minutes.
Even though your daughter will be dressed for Hallowe’en, please ensure she has suitable clothing and footwear for the walk, including a rain jacket.
Míle buíochas to all who have sponsored the girls.  If you have not done so please return the sponsorship form and money to the Parents’ Associaton.  Unused forms may also be returned.

Primary Athletics

We  participated in the  North Dublin Primary Schools Annual Cross Country Competition, for the first time.  Over 140 girls, from 4th to 6th class, took part in the training sessions.  9 teams participated in the event on Monday 18th October.  Comhghairdeas to all those who completed the course on the day.  Hannah Byrne and Susie O’Flynn both came 3rd in their race.  Maith sibh a chailíní.  Buíochas mór do Colette, Mr Byrne, Ms Nic Lughadha, Ms O’Connell and Ms Foley for their help.
A huge míle buíochas to the parents who came in and took away the old computers to the recycle venue in Fairview. The new computers are up and running and the computer room will be painted over the break.
The windows will also be cleaned so we will have a shining, sparkling school to return to!
