This week is Catholic Schools Week.
Yesterday, in religion class we spoke about our family at home. We read St. Paul’s description of love in Corinthians 13:4-8.
Today, we listened to the story of The Good Samaritan. Jesus was teaching a lesson when he told this story. He wanted us to be kind to others. We spoke about our school family. We remembered especially Mrs. O’Donoghue and thought of some nice memories we have with her.
Later in the week we will be looking at our parish family and our world family.
The theme for Catholic Schools Week 2018 is ‘Catholic Schools: Families of Faith’. Each day we will be focusing on a different theme and building our prayer wall accordingly. We will upload a picture of the finished wall on Friday. The daily themes are:
Monday: Our Family at Home
Tuesday: Our Family at School
Wednesday: Grandparents: A special Part of Our Family
Thursday: Our Parish Family
Friday: Our World Family
