Happy Easter

This is for anyone who completed this page in Abair liom

Hi girls,

I hope you are all well and everyone is staying safe. Keep up the handwashing!

Well today was meant to be our Easter Pajamas party and the first day of the Easter Holiday’s. Sad face. These are the great days I miss the most having fun whilst celebrating our hard work.

I sent your parents an email yesterday, asking for three pieces of work that you are proud of. Five girls messaged me yesterday and I see I have a few more today. I hope to hear from you all soon as I would like to see how you all have been getting on over the past three weeks.

Today I am going to attach the answers for our Mental Maths and Busy at Maths work which I would like you to check. You are also encouraged to self evaluate your Go With The Flow work at the end of each page.

I will keep in touch but for now enjoy the Easter Holidays and don’t eat too many chocolate eggs!

Work for Week 3 of school closures

Hi all,

I am posting up the work for next week. Do your best and try everything please.

Most of you should be nearing the end of Go With The Flow workbook now so this work is not on the plan this week but if you need to catch up continue completing exercises.

We covered the topic of Time during our maths stations so you have a couple of pages to complete from Busy at Maths this week.

Your tables sheet is complete by now so I would encourage you all to participate in Mangahigh activities. If you are experiencing any difficulties please contact Mangahigh directly. If you are logged on as a third or fourth class student shouldn’t matter as the activites are the same.

Take some 5 minute movement breaks using the activity sheet you were given on the final day before school closure.

Stay safe and well,

Hope to see you all soon,

Lisa Daly

Abair liom

Hello everyone,

I hope you are well and that the work is going well. Remember to highlight any maths questions you find tricky and complete all your written work, English, Irish and project work in your English copy please if there is no worksheet given.

If you would like help with the Irish work I have listed a set of instructions below on how to set up an Abair Liom account:

This will allow you to access all of the Abair Liom resources including stories, poems, games, songs and vocabulary sheets. I think these will be a huge help to the girls. We are currently on the theme- An Teilifís.
How to set up an account:
– Go to https://www.folensonline.ie/
– Set yourself up as teachers with your own username, password and enter Prim20 as the roll number.
– Search Abair liom F.
– Select Theme (We have done up to An Teilifís)
– Select resource- Each theme has a póstaer- these are great as they tell a story, then ask different vocabulary and questions to do with the story.

Be safe and well,

Hope to see you all soon,

Lisa Daly
