The Summer Holidays are here at last! Did you throw your coat up into the air at midday on Friday? Mrs McCarthy did!!
Here are some of the our class’ favourite memories of Rang a Trí. Thank you for all of your hard work this year, both in Room 9 and during the school closure.
I know that you will all work hard for Ms Duffy in 4th Class. She is really looking forward to being your teacher. I have already told her about all the amazing girls she will have in Room 8 next year.
One of the best things you can do this Summer, is to keep reading! The Dublin libraries are running Summer Stars Reading Programme again this year. You can listen to audio/e-books, write short stories, read book reviews, do quizzes and enjoy storytime by the librarians and local authors. Definitely worth checking out! https://www.librariesireland.ie/services/right-to-read/summer-stars
Enjoy a wonderful Summer!

Ms. Deegan 👱♀️.
We hope that you had a nice short week.
Well done for all your hard work especially over the last few months. You have all done an AMAZING job!✨
We have attached the answers below for Maths.
We are looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow (24th of June) at your WebEx graduation ceremony at 11 am. We sent an email out yesterday with the meeting details. If you did not get an email please contact email@example.com.
If you are having any issues during the WebEx session please email- firstname.lastname@example.org. A member of staff will be looking at the emails and will try and help you. As we will be taking part in the graduation, we will not be able to reply to any Seesaw messages during the graduation session.
Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow 🎓 .
The Sixth Class Teachers 😃.
Hi ladies – well, we made it to the end of Fifth Class!!! I can’t believe that it’s gone so fast. This year has been a very different year to every other year so far, but I have really enjoyed being your teacher!
I have given you very little actual ‘work’ to do this week, as I would really like if you had a little bit of fun. I have assigned Maths, but with some active things for you to do. I’ve popped up a grid of activities for you – press the download button below. You’ll have to enable editing on Powerpoint to follow the links.
These are also set up on Seesaw (click ‘view original’) and the whole thing works the same as the Early Finisher’s Trolley that has been up in the Virtual Classroom for the past while. Hopefully my new ‘techie skills’ won’t fail me now!
I’d love to see some pictures of any of the activities you do. Send them along on Seesaw!!
Ms. Carroll 😁
I hope you enjoy the last week of activities. There are some fun virtual tours again this week. There is a talent competition and some really fun art activities. We will also be finishing the novel we have been reading, Ickabog!
I can’t believe we are nearly at the end of the school year! I have been so impressed with all your work over the last number of weeks.
Keep an eye out on Seesaw for our end of year message before the end of the week. Have a brilliant week!
Can you believe it is the end of the school year already?! The last few weeks flew by. You have all been working so hard and I’m really proud of you all.
We have included some fun end of year activities for this weeks home learning- a summer bucket list, a talent show, some virtual schools tours and a few other activities. I think you’ll enjoy our final week!
Be sure to keep an eye on Seesaw during the week for an end of year message from me. I hope you all have an amazing last week of 4th class.
Mol an óige agus tiocfaidh sí!
