A chailíní,
Tá fíor bhrón orm nach bhfuil mé in ann bualadh libh sa leabharlann chun caint faoi na leabhair a léigh sibh le déanaí. Girls, I’m so disappointed we can’t meet in the library to discuss the books you have read recently. Ach is féidir libh labhairt le do Mham, do Dhaid, do dheifiúr, do dheartháir nó do chara! However, you can keep up reading though – get some of your family members or friends to read the same book as you and then discuss it together:
- The story (plot)
- The characters
- The setting
- The ending
- What you thought of the book
I have put some suggested questions on the website too for you.
Céard a léifidh mé/what will I read?
- You can look at the school website for the books the girls in your class group read last year or in previous years www.belgroveseniorgirls.ie
- You can see what books you have not read at home that are suitable
- You can have a look at the following websites with your parents
- Join the library online and download the Borrowbox app at librariesireland.ie
- https://childrensbooksireland.ie/inis/ This website has lots of information – With all that’s going on in the world, many young readers are understandably having difficulty getting stuck into a book. If that sounds familiar, we can help.
