Bhí lá hiontach againn i bPáirc an Chrócaigh ar an Luan.
Bhuaigh a foireann Camógaíochta an Corn Haughey. Táimid an-bhródúil as na cailíní!
Seo cúpla grianghrafanna ón lá.
The girls successfully topped their group in the Cumann na mBunscol’s Corn Haughey competition before the Easter holidays. Yesterday, Tuesday 21st May Belgrove Senior Girls’ Camogie team went on to beat Scoil San Treasa in a thrilling semi-final match, in Ringsend Park. They have now secured a place in the final which will be played in Croke Park on either the 10th or 11th June 2019.
Maith thú a chailíní. Táim an-bhródúil asaibh!
Go n-éirí an t-adh leo i bPáirc an Chrócaigh.
Well done to all the girls who recently took part in our Camogie trials. With 66 girls from both 5th and 6th class trying out, it made our job to select this year’s panel extremely difficult. It is wonderful to see such an interest in this fantastic sport and the skill all the girls displayed is a tribute to our local GAA clubs – Clontarf, Scoil Uí Chonaill and Na Fianna.
Congratulations to the following girls who will make up the 2019 Camogie Panel

Sarah Moriarty Mairéad Hanratty Lilly May Conaty

A thuismitheoirí/ a chaomhnóirí,
Belgrove Senior Girls’ School is very fortunate to have a well-stocked school library. It is used on a daily basis by various classes. The girls are free to borrow a wide variety of books to enhance their reading skills.
All the books in our library are catalogued electronically on the Aladdin Library system and organised alphabetically by Author on the library shelves.
A rota of 6th class girls will be set up to help maintain the library by organising the books on the shelves and cataloguing new books in to the library system. It is hoped that the girls could perform this function before formal classroom teaching begins, from 8:45 – 9:00am, three mornings a week.
In order to facilitate this we are looking for parent volunteers to help supervise the girls in the library on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 8:45-9:00. If you think you could give 15 minutes of your time on one or more of these mornings, on a weekly basis or fortnightly basis, please contact the school office on 01-8331888 or email to email@example.com.
Thanking you for your continued support.
