Dear Parents
November was a very busy month! The girls in room 4 have been busy preparing for the up coming Christmas concert. All the girls have put great energy and enthusiasm into learning the words, songs and dances which have helped to bring A Christmas Carol to life.
Maths
In Maths the girls have progressed to the topic of Algebra. This involves investigating patterns and sequences with numbers, letters, shapes and colours. Below is a website with some fun games to help the girls with this topic:

With the help of Percy Parker, the class have learned songs to help them remember their 2, 3, 4, 8 and 10 multiplication tables, ask them to sing some of the songs for you!
Here is a link to the x8 song:
**These websites have been tried and tested for suitability and are great fun for all the family! But as always please monitor your daughter carefully while using the Internet
Advent
The four weeks leading up to Christmas, are known as Advent, which means, the coming. The girls made their own Advent wreath by tracing their hand prints and arranging them as one large wreath. Advent traditions are a great way to encourage and strengthen the natural bonding of families with each other and with God. The girls also made and designed their own personal Advent Calendars. Behind each door is an act of kindness or a Christmas activity carry out in the run up to Christmas.
