Maths: Time

Dear Parent / Guardian,

In third class, the girls are learning to tell the time in 5 minute intervals using both the digital and analogue clock.

The best way for your daughter to learn how to tell the time is by using it. Draw reference to the time throughout the day and ask her questions about it. A watch is a fantastic and useful gift!

Here are a few online games that may help with this tricky topic:

http://www.primaryhomeworkhelp.co.uk/maths/measures.htm

http://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/ks1/maths/telling_the_time/play/popup.shtml

These websites have been tried and tested for suitability and are great fun for all the family! But as always please monitor your daughter carefully while using the Internet .

Mrs. Stokes 🙂

Mol an óige agus tiocfaidh sí!
